What to have ready

None of it is compulsory. It just means the first reply is an answer rather than a list of questions.

Both addresses. Street name matters in this city — it tells us the parking and the gradient before we look anything up.
The floor, and whether there is a lift. The single biggest factor in what a Nottingham move actually takes.
Roughly how much there is. Bedroom count is a starting point. Whether the loft, cellar and garage are full matters more than people think.
Your rough timing. Even "sometime in the spring" helps. If it is the last week of June, tell us immediately.
Anything awkward. A very large mirror, a marble table, a managing agent, a cellar, a street you already know is impossible.
How much packing you want. All of it, some of it, or just the materials dropped off.

Within working hours, promptly. Outside them, the next working day. If it is genuinely urgent — a date that has just moved, a load with nowhere to go — ring rather than email, because that is the only way to get an answer while somebody is looking at the schedule.
